In my indigenous culture, womanhood is venerated. In my sculpture, my intent is to express the noble virtures women possess, such as empathy, love, humility and inner strength. The voluminous shapes are aesthetically pleasing and intoxicating to me, but they also serve to emphasize the largeness of soul that is womanhood. Nnamdi Okonkwo
